Welcome to Health-Axis. Trying to keep up to date with the blog I thought I would start sharing some of the amazing people I find around the web. Here is an interview on YouTube where Dr Nick Gonzalez Talks to Dr Mercola about Curing Cancer.

I just re-listened to this video and thought I would post it here to share with people. Over the last five years I have done allot of personal research on cancer, people that have had good success treating caner patients, people that have cured (can I say that? ) or laid dormant their cancer and I have seen, heard, read, watched and listened enough to know that although there is no miracle cure for cancer, there certainly are ways to fight and beat/regress cancer. And if doesn’t involve barbaric, archaic, expensive, (profitable to some) treatments such as chemo and radiation.

There are Doctors, good, intelligent, pioneering doctors out that making head way, but it isn’t easy. As you will hear, research that offers possible answers but are non profitable are often hidden, buried, denied to the public and quite often the pioneering doctors are attacked professionally and publicly.

Studies Track Protein Relevant to Stem Cells, Cancer

ScienceDaily (Mar. 30, 2011) — Last year, a research team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill discovered one way the protein Tet 1 helps stem cells keep their pluripotency — the unique ability to become any cell type in the body. In two new studies, the team takes a broad look at the protein’s location in the mouse genome, revealing a surprising dual function and offering the first genome-wide location of the protein and its product, 5-hydroxymethylcytosine — dubbed the “sixth base” of DNA.

UNC biochemist Yi Zhang, PhD, whose team conducted the studies, called the findings an important step in understanding the molecular mechanisms behind cell differentiation and the development of cancer. The findings appear in two recent papers, published March 30, 2011 online in Nature and in the April 1, 2011 issue of Genes & Development.

“There is no doubt that Tet proteins are relevant to cancer,” said Zhang, Kenan distinguished professor of biochemistry and biophysics. Zhang is also an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and a member of the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Tet proteins were initially discovered in leukemia as fusion proteins, which are commonly found in cancer cells, where they may function as oncoproteins.

In addition, Zhang said, “Tet is likely to be one of the important players for stem cell reprogramming.” Learning to “reprogram” cells in the adult body to make them behave like stem cells has long been a goal for stem cell researchers; understanding how Tet proteins operate could help advance stem-cell based treatments.

Tet proteins are known to help stem cells stay pluripotent. Zhang’s team analyzed Tet1’s occupancy across the entire mouse embryonic stem cell genome. They found that the protein works by using a two-pronged approach to maintain the mouse embryonic stem cell state.

“On one hand, it silences the genes that are important for differentiation. On the other hand, it also activates pluripotency genes,” said Zhang.

The team then focused its attention on the Tet1-catalyzed reaction product,5-hydroxymethylcytosine. 5-hydroxymethylcytosine is a modified version of cytosine — the “C” in the four main DNA bases, A, T, G, and C. 5-methylcytosine and 5-hydroxymethylcytosine have been called the fifth and sixth bases of DNA, but since 5-hydroxymethylcytosine was discovered only recently, scientists know little about it.

“Everybody is trying to understand what 5-hydroxymethylcytosine is doing,” said Zhang. “Is it an intermediate, or is it an end product? What is its biological function?” Zhang’s team mapped the distribution of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine across the genome, offering new insights to its role in development and disease.

“It’s the first time we have the whole picture of where this new modification is in embryonic stem cells,” said Zhang. “We found that its role in regulating transcription is complicated. It’s not simply activating or repressing genes — it depends on the context.”

Like much of science, the research answers some questions while raising others. “This study is just beginning,” said Zhang. Although Tet1 is known to generate 5-hydroxymethylcytosine, there are places where one exists without the other. Further investigation could reveal more about the relationship between the two and whether other enzymes may play a role. In addition, scientists need to examine how Tet1 and 5-hydroxymethylcytosine function in animal models.

Study collaborators include UNC postdoctoral researchers Ana D’Alessio, Shinsuke Ito, and Kai Xia, as well as Yi Sun and Hao Wu of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine; Zhibin Wang of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health; and Kairong Cui and Keji Zhao of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Parallels Between Cancers, Infection Suppression: Same Proteins Involved, but Cancer Takes Hold When Response Gets out of Control

ScienceDaily (Jan. 3, 2011) — Tiny parasitoid wasps can play an important role in controlling the populations of other insect species by laying their eggs inside the larvae of these species. A newly hatched wasp gradually eats the host alive and takes over its body. 

The host insect is far from defenseless, however. In Drosophila (fruit flies), larvae activate humoral immunity in the fat body and mount a robust cellular response that encapsulates and chokes off the wasp egg.

New research by Dr. Shubha Govind, professor of biology at The City College of New York, and colleagues reveals parallels between how this mechanism fights the wasp infection and the way blood cancer develops. “There are fundamental similarities in the processes,” she explains. “The response to wasp infection is similar to acute inflammation while the cancer is akin to chronic inflammation in mammals, where regulation of the response to an infection also goes out of control.”

Professor Govind reports that the immune system that counters wasp egg infection is highly restrained. The system works like a thermostat, with certain proteins detecting the infection and triggering the immune reactions. Once the egg has been destroyed the immune reactions come to a halt.

However, when the regulating mechanism goes haywire, cancer can develop. Through sumoylation, the correct balance between positive and negative factors is achieved, Professor Govind and colleagues report.

“There is strong evidence that the fundamental mechanism of regulation uncovered in flies also works in humans,” she notes. “Because of the molecular similarities between flies and mammals, it may be possible to use flies to test drugs for potential anti-inflammatory effects in human disease.” While such drugs would not cure cancer, they could control inflammation and, perhaps, delay cancer progression.

Other potential applications are in pest control for agriculture. Instead of using insecticides, parasitoids with the ability to suppress the hosts’ immune systems could be used to kill insect pests. Also, insecticides could be developed that, at very low concentrations, would weaken the immune systems of host insects and enable parasitoid eggs to succeed, Professor Govind adds.

The findings were published last month in PLoS Pathogens, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Public Library of Science. Contributing scientists were: Indira Paddibhatla, Mark J. Lee, Marta E. Kalamarz and Roberto Ferrarese. The work was funded by the National Institutes of General Medicine, U.S. Department of Agriculture and PSC-CUNY.

Human Immune System Has Emergency Backup Plan

ScienceDaily (Dec. 27, 2010) — New research by scientists at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences reveals that the immune system has an effective backup plan to protect the body from infection when the “master regulator” of the body’s innate immune system fails. The study appears in the December 19 online issue of the journal Nature Immunology.

The innate immune system defends the body against infections caused by bacteria and viruses, but also causes inflammation which, when uncontrolled, can contribute to chronic illnesses such as heart disease, arthritis, type 2 diabetes and cancer. A molecule known as nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) has been regarded as the “master regulator” of the body’s innate immune response, receiving signals of injury or infection and activating genes for microbial killing and inflammation.

Led by Michael Karin, PhD, Distinguished Professor of Pharmacology, the UC San Diego team studied the immune function of laboratory mice in which genetic tools were used to block the pathway for NF-κB activation. While prevailing logic suggested these mice should be highly susceptible to bacterial infection, the researchers made the unexpected and counterintuitive discovery that NF-κB-deficient mice were able to clear bacteria that cause a skin infection even more quickly than normal mice.

“We discovered that loss of NF-κB caused mice to produce a potent immune-activating molecule known as interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), which in turn stimulated their bone marrow to produce dramatically increased numbers of white blood cells known as neutrophils,” said Karin. Neutrophils are the body’s front-line defenders against infection, capable of swallowing and killing bacteria with a variety of natural antibiotic enzymes and proteases.

The new research demonstrates that the innate immune system deploys two effective strategies to deal with invasive bacterial infection, and that the IL-1β system provides an important safety net when NF-κB falls short.

“Having a backup system in place is critical given the diverse strategies that bacterial pathogens have evolved to avoid bacterial clearance,” said Victor Nizet, MD, professor of pediatrics and pharmacy, whose laboratory conducted the infectious challenge experiments in the study. “A number of bacteria are known to suppress pathways required for NF-κB activation, so IL-1β signaling could help us recognize and respond to these threats.”

While helpful in short-term defense against a severe bacterial infection, the dramatic increase in neutrophil counts seen in the NF-κB-deficient mice ultimately came at a cost. Over many weeks, these activated immune cells produced inflammation in multiple organs and led to the premature death of the animals. Long-term blockade of NF-κB signaling has been explored extensively by the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry as a strategy for anti-inflammatory or anti-cancer therapy, perhaps unaware of the risks suggested by this new research.

“One might contemplate adding a second inhibitor of IL-1β signaling to protect against the over-exuberant neutrophil response,” said Karin. “Unfortunately, loss of both the NF-κB pathway and the backup IL-1β pathway rendered the mice highly susceptible to invasive bacterial infection which they no longer cleared.”

Altogether, the UC San Diego research sheds new light on the complex and elegant regulatory pathways required for a highly effective innate immune system. The scientists noted that future investigations must take into account these interrelationships in order to design novel drugs against inflammatory diseases that achieve their treatment goals while minimizing the risk of infection.

Lead authors of the study were former UC San Diego postdoctoral fellows Li-Chung Hsu, now at National Taiwan University in Taipei, and Thomas Enzler, currently at the University of Goettingen in Germany. Additional contributors include Guan-Yi Yu and Vladislav Temkin of the UCSD Department of Pharmacology; Anjuli Timmer of the UCSD Department of Pediatrics; Jun Seita and Irving Weissman of the Institute for Stem Cell Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine; Chih-Yuan Lee, Ting-Yu Lai, Guann-Yi Yu, and Liang-Chuan Lai of National Taiwan University; and Ursula Sinzig and Thiha Aung of the University of Goettingen.

Some sun exposure and vitamin D supplements may be the most effective means of reducing the risk of breast cancer, suggest findings from a French study.

 

Numerous studies have linked vitamin D levels to a reduction in the risk of certain cancers, including breast cancer, but much debate has focused on the means to boost vitamin D levels – supplements or sunlight.

According to new findings published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, a combination may be the best approach. Data collected over a decade of study from 67,721 women indicated that postmenopausal women living in sunny climes combined with high dietary or supplemental intakes of vitamin D were at a significantly reduced risk of breast cancer compared to women with high sun exposure and low intakes of the vitamin.

On the other hand, no associations were observed for dietary and supplemental intakes of vitamin D alone, report researchers led by Pierre Engel from Inserm (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale).

“Although, our results do not support a linear dose-response relationship of both UVR dose and dietary vitamin D on BC risk, our findings suggest that a threshold of vitamin D exposure is required to prevent BC; this minimal amount is likely to vary with individual ability to metabolize or synthesize vitamin D from both sources,” they said.

D and the big C

The link between vitamin D intake and protection from cancer dates from the 1940s when Frank Apperly demonstrated a link between latitude and deaths from cancer, and suggested that sunlight gave “a relative cancer immunity”.

Since then there have been numerous studies suggesting associations between vitamin D and lower risks of certain cancers.

Vitamin D refers to two biologically inactive precursors – cholecalciferol (D3) and ergocalciferol (D2).

Both D3 and D2 precursors are hydroxylated in the liver and kidneys to form 25- hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D), the non-active ‘storage’ form, and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (1,25(OH)2D), the biologically active form that is tightly controlled by the body.

There is growing evidence that 1,25(OH)2D has anticancer effects, but the discovery that non-kidney cells can also hydroxylate 25(OH)D had profound implications, implying that higher 25(OH)D levels could protect against cancer in the local sites.

The association between vitamin D and breast cancer is still ambiguous, however, according to results of a recent meta-analysis published in the European Journal of Cancer (doi: 10.1016/j.ejca.2010.03.037).

New data

According to findings of Dr Engel and his team, such ambiguity may be related to a combination of dietary, supplemental and sunlight exposure as the source of raising vitamin D levels.

The French researchers documented 2,871 cases of breast cancer over the 10 years of their study. While no relationship was observed between dietary and supplemental intakes of the sunshine vitamin, the risk of breast cancer for women residing in regions with the highest average daily UV exposure (living below a latitude of 46°N) combined with high dietary vitamin D intakes was 32 percent lower, while the risk for high UV exposure and high supplemental intakes was reduced by 45 percent.

“Considering that, in France, mean vitamin D dietary intake is low, and 25(OH) vitamin D serum concentrations are mostly below the 30 ng/mL recommended threshold, our results suggest that an increase in overall vitamin D intake should be encouraged by food and health agencies, possibly through fortification of foods,” concluded Dr Engel and his co-workers.

Jury–in or out?

The recent meta-analysis, which reviewed and summarised ten trials investigating the association between serum vitamin D (measured as 25(OH)D levels) and the risk of breast cancer, concluded that the data to date “show ambiguous evidence”.

“Data is still sparse and in depth analyses … especially measuring repeatedly 25(OH)D at different time points before diagnosis, are highly desirable to enable more precise estimates and a better understanding of the role of vitamin D in breast cancer development and prevention,” concluded the authors of the meta-analysis.

A method involving rapid baking at lower temperatures coupled with the addition of acidulents could increase residual natural source antioxidants in baked foods, new research has found

The authors, who published their findings in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, found that blue corn-containing cookies baked with citric acid in a convection oven retained the maximum total anthocyanin content (TAC).

“Cookies serve as a satisfactory model for baked food systems to demonstrate how manipulating ingredients and processing conditions can improve anthocyanin retention yet retain acceptable cookie properties,” concluded the researchers.

The authors explained that blue corn (maize) contains high levels of anthocyanins – pink to purple water-soluble flavonoids that are naturally occurring pigments in many fruits and red wine and have claimed health benefits.

In both in vitro and in vivo studies, anthocyanins tend to reduce cancer cell proliferation and inhibit tumour formation, report the team, who added that research has demonstrated that anthocyanins also protect against cardiovascular disease.

However, anthocyanins are sensitive to degradation by high pH, light and temperature, and the researchers said the focus of their study was thus on how pH changes (acidulents) and oven type affect the residual anthocyanin content of cookies containing blue corn.

Method

A cookie formula with a high level of blue corn was developed with added acidulents including citric acid, lactic acid and glucono-δ-lactone (GDL) and baked in ovens with different heat transfer coefficients.

An electric reel oven, a gas forced convection oven and an electric impingement oven were used to bake the cookies.

The best whole-grain blue corn flour/wheat pastry flour ratio (80:20 w/w), guar gum level (10 g kg−1, flour weight basis) and water level (215 g kg−1, flour weight basis) were determined based on response surface methodology analysis.

Acidulents were added to lower the pH in the cookies and reduce the decomposition of anthocyanins during baking.

Results

Generally, the convection oven was more efficient in baking and retaining TAC in the blue corn cookies than was the reel oven.

“If the cookies were baked at 177°C for 7 min (TAC 130 mg kg1) in the convection oven, the TAC remaining in the cookies was higher than when baking at the same temperature in the reel oven (115 mg kg1),” found the researchers.

They said that this factor was explained by the higher heat transfer efficiency in the convection oven, which allows more heat-sensitive anthocyanins to survive during the shorter time.

Based on product properties (diameter spread and surface character), 182°C and 4 min were identified as the baking conditions to retain both maximum TAC and the desired cookie characteristics,” concluded the team.  

They added that GDL, citric acid and lactic acid all increased residual TAC in both the cookie dough and the final cookies but citric acid, with three replaceable hydrogen ions, retained the highest level of anthocyanin content in the cookies.

And the researchers maintain that the same procedure can be used to increase residual natural source antioxidants in other baked foods.

Tony Pantallresco  “Just A Guy That knows Some Stuff”

 

It was about two years ago whilst looking for information on natural ways to fight and beat cancer that I came across Tony Pantalleresco on YouTube. I had been scouring the web and becoming increasingly frustrated with all the scam web sites out there, promising miracle cures for cash. I then heard a radio show hosted by Carl Lanore on Super Human Radio about a man using a ginger extract to fight and rid his body of a cancerous tumour.   My hopes were revitalised so I did some more searching about and found Tony Pantalleresco on youtube under the name Herbsplusandbeadswork. I spoke to Tony for many hours on MSN, and I watched all of his YouTube videos. Tony gave me so much information, and good advice (all free) that opened my eyes to so many things that I was hooked. I listened to his shows on The Micro effect. and I loved them. One thing that stands out for me is that Tony has no agenda. He is not tied to any particular company or organization, he does not push any particular brands of supplements. Tony is continuously researching for the truth, that’s it, with no bias.

 Anyone that gives out free information,  has no particular  ‘angle’  or sales pitch,  and works 18 hours a day  looking for what work is OK in my books. Tony has been in  and around the supplement  industry for  many  years and has seen all the usual fads and scams come and go and then come around again.  Tony spends hours researching and experimenting with herbs, spices, foods, supplements, and much more, you can find the results of all his alchemy on his website and youtube videos which you can find links for at the bottom of this page. I could not get Tony to write some information about himself  such is his nature, so below is an interview I had with Tony online. 

  Enjoy it and check out  his website, youtube and I would also suggest having a consultation with him for any on going health problems you may have that the Doctors have failed at curing for you (do Doctors cure anything these days or just hide symptoms??)  I paid a very very reasonable donation (VERY reasonable especially when you compare to any naturopath or even herbalist) and I spoke with Tony for a long time via msn (I’m in the UK and he is in Canada) and then he answered months of questions at no extra cost. (I can’t say for a fact that he will have time to do this for every one but you definitely get help far and beyond what you may expect.)

LLLS: Tell us a bit about yourself, what is your background?   When and how did you get into the ‘alternative health’ industry? How you are involved now? How did you get into radio and doing youtube videos?

Tony: My background is I am a North American  with a Mediterranean background born in Michigan and reside in Ontario–Have  Duality with 2 countries—parents were born in Malta a british commonwealth country at the time so that entitles me to as well  to a UK membership if I ever were to choose—got into health when I was 18 –at that time there was a huge controversy due to ignorance on steroid `dangers–and at the time I was athletic and playing sports and trained—so I began searching and studying all I could on foods and how they work and herbs and the super foods of the day –bee pollen–spirulina–protein powders ( which at that time needed a cement mixer to mix and dynamite to swallow) to have a naturally strong body without steroids—today I would have used exoboline and anavar at that time if I knew then what I know now-Knowing on how they assist in the assimilating of proteins for strength and muscle—but during those day there was hardly anything in the health stores—today I would say 80-90% of it is all smoke screen and mirrors—especially in the body building end of it—so then there was the studying of different cultures and the herbs and then the experimentation with different formulas—and eventually came up with my own remedies and what I seen was a good mix and seen good results–it showed in my performance in the street hockey and football games I used to play.

 

 

 
 
LLLS:  Who was inspirational to you when you started out and who do you recommend people listen to other than yourself today?

  
Tony:  Who was inspirational? I would say seeing the athletes of the day and seeing the real power these guys had with out all the gimmickry like today —was what inspired me to train and get more into health
 
LLLS:  I have read allot about how we are historically meat eaters and do better without any starchy carbs and sugars, but I have also read books from so called experts that say when we were cavemen, we used to pick lots of fruit and berries and ate little meat and not very often.  It is theorised that we lost the enzyme in our livers long ago  which gave us the ability to produce Vitamin C as a stress response like most other mammals, because of the vit c containing fruit that we ate in abundance. what is your opinions on this?
  
Tony: Again all Bunk and theory–it amazes me how these studies come about—and it’s usually to sell an angle on a eating life style so some ass can sell a bogus line or lines of leftover industry product to the unsuspecting public—again with the vitamin C some say It was God’s way of saying no more living forever so we lost the ability—again bunk—some say what you implied  again this is to sell a life style so someone in those echelons can make money and keep people ignorant–the real truth of the matter is that we all came from differing origins –and as a result we all developed a genetic disposition to what ever foods were or are consumed to this day —now if you are lacking enzymes in the system or if you can process specific foods with no issue —that might imply genetics—or it might imply a Robust digestive system or a weak one—we are omnivores and by design we can consume either foods so it all depends allot on environment and life style and digestive system efficiency or deficiency
 
 
LLLS: So what are your views on the diet that we should be eating? Are you a /caveman/atkins love carb believer? Or a lots of fruit and veg guy? Or a zone dieter? And what are your opinions on the current food pyramid that the governments have us believe is a health way to eat?
 
 
Tony:  Food pyramids designed by Gov’ts are designed to make people ill and cause disease–any system that would put sugar ( carb) at the top of the food chain is asking for nothing but trouble—the best diet to use—is the one that works for you—again all these systems that are out there are again based on marketing and sales not fact–maybe nutraceutical marketing science—but the reality is if you live somewhere where it is cold you are going to eat more meat and fat to maintain health and strength—if you live where it is hot again you will eat based on that environment so your foods will have a tendency to be light and with allot of water so a fruit or vege type diet with little animal protein would be the way—where you work and how you work will also determine the regimen of food and what you will eat to maintain health—so again it is relative to who is doing what and where—now the one consensus anyone with any slat to them would say is that junk foods and candy coated pasteurized foods are not something anyone should eat—soy is something again in my estimation no one should eat–canola and other foods from GMO farms again no one should eat—based on all the real science going on globally—no one should eat these foods–buying protein bars loaded with soy is the biggest waste of time and the most efficient way to cause ill health to your immune system and organs–so again any foods such as this should not be fed to kids whatsoever —
 
 
LLLS: Where do you stand on the controversial subjects such as GMO foods? Are the good and here to save us all from starving? Or the next biggest cause of premature death and diseases such as cancer, heart disease ?
  
Tony: GMO–GE=== *&^% in a box–answer the question adequately I think
 
LLLS:  We have spoken before about people that come to you at your shop suffering with cancer, and you have seen them months later completely cancer free. Many people will think this is can’t be true, such is the main stream thinking on cancer. can you tell us a bit about this and methods you use to help these people?
  
Tony: The method is simple –stop the poison from going in the gullet and mouth—use things that clean the mutated cells—and know it is nothing more then any other infirmary that the body can have and beat nothing complicated —we give out 3 things that are herbal and supplement  in nature and give a protocol of things that can be done and things to stop doing–Main stream would have you believe that this dis—ease is the epitomy of death and it is not true at all—they would have you believe that you go into remission and never clear cancer –all BS—that would mean that if you caught a cold and got over it you went into remission because the following year you may get it again—All BS—you can get over cancer and be C-U-R-E-D or H-E-A-L-E-D but that does not mean you cannot get it again or again –met people who beat cancer –got it again years later–beat it again and got it again several years later—did it go into remission ? NO it meant he had been re-infected or re contaminated with whatever caused the cancer in the first place—no different if you eat a huge bunch of sugar and the next day are sniffling and having a runny nose—you get over it and then repeat the behaviour on the sugar and again the same symptom reoccurs—again the biggest deceit of the century –if you put stuff in you that increases fungal -bacterial-viral-chemical-metal–and over whelm the immune system —you will have all the recipe to get cancer–no different the if I put my hand on a stove when it is on high heat I will get burned. 
LLLS: Although there are almost always multiple reasons for people getting sick in today’s world,in your opinion what are the top Five leading causes of sickness and disease?
  
Tony: 1) Doctors -they who infect people with needles ( direct correlation of vaccinations and cancer ) prescribing addictive drugs to suppress symptoms instead of seeing the cause and actually freeing someone from bondage of disease–in my opinion all are testosterone deficient people who do not oppose the religion of medicine for fear of losing a piece of paper called a license
2)Corporate Farming-force feeding animals and infecting them with high steroids and antibiotics and feeding them grains instead of grasses or loading them with soy and the derivative of soy MSG in the feed to further addict an unsuspecting public to fertilize grasses with ebola and other negative bacterial culture and the using GMO and roundups that cause more poison in the farms and indirectly causing the vegetarians to get their daily dose of “organic wasteand now nano particles
3 )Industrial and Manufacturing Pollutants–un regulated dumping in land and water and air and we are exposed to an overload of these contaminants from xenoestrogens to toxic waste and now Chemtrails 
4) Gov’t –don’t know about you but they make me ill all the time- the regulations and the laws to stop people to have access to health of choice and to stop people from growing gardens and being really free to heal themselves
5)Television–always selling poison and telling us where to buy what t buy and sell us more crap and junk that clutter our lives and cause internal clutter as well–selling toxic chemicals for Hygien products–toxic soaps that break us down while we sweat-processed foods laden with soy and other GE and GMO monstrosities

  
LLLS: I know that you use nutrition and herbs/spices to help bring people back to health, do you prefer the ancient methods or philosophy of herbalism or the more modern scientific approach which is often referred to as Botanical medicine or Phyto therapy?
  
Tony: I use whatever Works–ancient stuff mostly or anything pre 1980 anything after this is all a crap shoot unless you can find credible studies that are unbiased and unadulterated,  a  toughie, but still can be done  I do use current stuff as well but like I said whatever Works!!!
 
 LLLS: What is your top 10 list of herbs to improve health?
  
Tony:  hahahah–Whatever works for you—but the Number one thing I give is Enzymes then FOOD–after this Vitamin C–after this Garlic–Rosemary—Thyme–Nootropics—Heart Supporting Supplement/Herb/food-Iodine–B1–Sulphur based Foods or herbs—Parsley-Plantain-Nettle–Vinegar–Wine–No Beer ahaha–I threw this in I know you like beer-haha
 
 
LLLS :What is your opinion on the omega 3 fats that people are now being told to mega dose to cure/prevent multiple disease?
  
Tony: Waste of Money and ALL BS!!  Pure Bullocks as they say in the UK and the commonwealth Pure Bullocks—these oils oxidize quicker in the system after 4 years of use they actually cause Heart Failure–and in the interim will cause cholesterol issues -and Like I said  by-product waste sold to the health industry so the nationals do not have to pay to clean there waste up—you become the garbage dump
 
 
 LLLS :  What are your top 10 tips for staying disease free?
  
 Tony: impossible—but you can increase the odds and the efficiency of your bodies to defend against the break down  of disease– or rather dis—- ease no such thing as a disease again another mind bender to get us to play sick so we can be fed drugs—the thing is whatever you do wherever you live and how you live will determine the regimen you may find work for you–the things I would tell you to avoid to increase and maintain Vitality would be 
1) Sugar
2 )SOY
3) Canola
4)Margarine
5) Supplements or proteins containing sweeteners such as aspartame-sucrolose (splenda) aceslfame K- HFCS-high fructose corn syrup 
6) Box-bagged-Canned foods –most have soy or soy derivatives or canola oil- msg- hfsc-disodium guaylate disodium inosinate–Toxic as all hell- there are exceptions to this as far as canned goods but even the foods in them would have to be neutralized and prepared to make safe for consumption —but then again it would depend on what the foods are
7)-Colouring agents-Plastics
8) pork and pork by-products 
9)anything that says artificial flavour or natural flavour -these are usually soy or some unknown waste and since you do not know what it is why eat it
 10)  being a total vegan–seen more people with this life style get tanked –ill or totally broken–you have to have some animal protein or you do not get taurine and as a result heart- eye -brain–insulin functions and liver go to the crapper—and if your system has to manufacturer something that is more work for the internals as a result it cuts the body’s life force not increase it—for a short time to do this type of diet -say 3 months -may actually be healthy as a result of detoxing the body of excesses—but for a prolong period then it becomes detrimental—actually seen some one commit suicide as a result of this due to her brain not getting adequate zinc and b12 due to the bleeding off from soy and the lack of animal protein…
