What is natural health and what is it about?  

Well, you will find a specific definition in the dictionary. You will also get many varying versions of it from people working in and around the industry. You probably have your own idea too.  

To me, Natural health is all about balance. Eating fresh, chemical free foods when we can, and using products that are as pure as possible, as nature intended. If I can I will take an organic apple that’s been grown locally without the use of chemicals, over a wax coated pestersised treated apple, when ever I can. This how ever is not always possible. I live in  ‘the real world’ and know that some times its hard to find these produce, and some times they are too expensive. When we have to eat wax coated apples, then we can take other precautions. We can peel the apple for a start. This is one very small and minor example, but I hope it gets my point across.

On this page I will list some alternative / complimentary therapies that people around the world use to help heal particular ailments. Some may be covered under other sections on this site such as certain vitamins  or herbs.

 Remember this is information for you and I am not a physician. ALWAYS speak to your Doctor before trying any new diet, exercise routine or ‘alternative’ therapy.

About Us

I have been interested in the Health and fitness industry for around 16 or 17 years. Over the past 7 or 8 years in particular I have visited the hospital more times than i wanted. For myself, and with other people. I have noticed a trend within our health system in the UK that is being noticed by more and more people that I talk to. Before I go on, I am not here to bash the local doctor. Most GP’s, in and around London at least, are over worked and don’t have the time needed to dedicate to each patient.

Unfortunately though, all too often doctors don’t really seem to do anything other than hand out pills. Antibiotics, pain killers, satins etc. More times than I would like, I have seen a Doctor begin to write out a prescription before I have finished describing my symptoms and that is not an exaggeration!

I have also been interested in Physical Culture for some time. I found the Internet , and then a weight lifting / bodybuilding forum in about 2000/2001 and my views about how to eat to get lean and stronger changed dramatically! I follow the sport of bodybuilding loosely. Bodybuilders (well some) have been ahead of the game for many many years when it comes to nutrition.

In recent times I have been interested in the power of nutrition. Using vitamins, amino acids, herbs and more to restore health. What we eat defines us. We know that what we eat can harm us but what what we consume can also help to heal us. I study Herbalism. In herbalism we use plants, herbs, barks etc to restore the bodies natural balance I am always interested to hear from anyone that has experience with herbs and other natural products that they have found are good for health or a specific condition.

I am continuously learning. And love to hear from any one with alternative ideas. I was fascinated to learn that Saturated fats may not be the KILLER we are lead to believe, and that statin drugs are not necessarily the wonder drug that some people claim. The fact that the Enzyme Serrapeptase can help to break down Fibroadenomas (also known as breast mice) in women, as well as blood clots, and that these things are used very very safe and effective in medicine in Germany but ignored in other countries around the world…. The possibility that Ginger extract MAY help to break down and destroy some cancerous tumours, and a cancerous tumours ability  to create its very own access to our  blood supply to help it continue to grow and invade……. these things intrigue me and have opened my eyes to many things. I hope I can help to educate you, as well as help open your eyes, and your mind with the information on here.
